I was against this when Tyrone tried it, but seeing how many people are getting involved with Bubble Parties, my reasoning was flawed, it seems. So, with that in mind, I am opening this thread.

You don't have to place your bubble party stuff here, but I'm going to place all of mine here, for the most part.

Hope you join me.

Are Bubble party DJs a new version of the old kiddie clown entertainer?

I keep picturing that clown on "Uncle Buck" at the door arguing that he's considered "A God in the children's party market"

Where did you end up getting them from Rick?

Well, it seems that many people have interest, but it is always the same people, so rather than fill the board with 25 different threads, I was hoping to centralize it, so not to bother people who don't care about bubble parties.

Feel free to do whatever you want Arnoldo, but I felt like "I" was creating too many threads on the topic. So, unless I need to really have something stand out, I think I will be putting most of my stuff in this thread.

okay so I have one question for those who have made a gig out of the infamous bubbles. IF you do such an event indoors what is done to avoid slipping hazards with the guests? Bubbles plus kids running around =Slippery potential for accidents. This is not intended to be a negative but to enlighten those of us who havent experienced. In past use of these machines I found it somewhat dangerous to push even one small units bubbles onto a wooden or for that matter any type solid flooring. I also wonder if Michael Buble ever considered the bubble party route prior to his rise to fame?

JTV:

Taking the show indoors and how to make it safe is discussed at length in my business plan. Whereas the show is much better outdoors, whenever Mother Nature fails to cooperate, there's a backup plan that can go into action.

without giving to much away,,, and maybe I'm coming in late here...is there anyway you can tell us, or give us an idea what bubble parties are and a few insights? I don't want to pay for something, get it and go,,,, oh crap,,,, this isn't something I wanna do...

know what I mean?

Chuck-

Just see John Allo's post on page 1 of this thread and follow the link in his signature to www.BubbleParties.com. I think every person here that has gotten the plan would agree that it is well worth it and then some.

The details on the site should let you know if it's something you want to to. I've always wanted to do some bona fide children's entertainment, so it's great for me.

I am on the same page as chuck! I want to make sure it is for me before I buy!

Although I also agree...a payment should be made, when credit is due! I am very interested in bubble parties....but I want to make sure "its for me" and the information provided isnt just "common sense" and there is a lot of "valuable insight" to be gained!

But yea....credit would be given when credit is due! I am no slacker in this department! I will go out of my way, to make sure people get credit when deserved! BTW...how much is the book/information?? I never got to see!

For just $900, you can become a "Bubble Entertainment Director", complete with certificate to mount on your wall....and be certified to tell the Bubble Story to each client.
:sqlaugh:
Kidding. The cost is minimal...the information is priceless. Much of it IS common sense, but John has taken the time to gather all of it into an easy to digest business plan, that will help you put extra $$ in your pocket. (Sort of like that other "Director" guy, but without the bashing of other DJs.)

I had John's business plan--mind you, no business yet, JUST the plan--and had three inquiries in one day from my ex-wife and two friends, who all thought the idea was GREAT, and lamented the lack of services like it in their area.

The site tells it all....and for a minimal investment, if you're disposed to that kind of work, you'll get the info you need to succeed. The rest is up to you. Just like some on these boards lean toward school events, and some prefer weddings or corporate events, this is another avenue to expand your talents--and your revenue. I found it well worth the investment.

Just my .02.

DJMN, Just follow the link at the bottom of John's page at www.BubbleParties.com. that says click here to find out more about becoming a Bubble Party DJ.

I haven't even got all the stuff together to market or perform yet (did one practice party with a bubble machine I already had), but listen to this.

I got one name of one child care director from a mom I knew. From that I made one phone call yesterday followed up by one e-mail promoting the parties and linking to the websites to explain them.

This morning I got an e-mail back for one bubble party as a graduation gift for the center's 30 pre-K kids on May 25th. Hope I have all the stuff together by then!

The nice thing is the e-mail stated that they would "start" with this party. This is very different from haggling with brides and grooms over a few hundred dollars. These folks are very happy to hear from you, at least that's my experience so far.

OK, I'm done...John, you can chime in here with and who told you so?:sqwink:

Rick

Now I've seen it all....Peter Merry bashing even in the bubble party thread!

Anyway....I like taking bubble baths with my girlfriend.....:sqwink:

BTW, Tiny....that's some funny stuff. Really, wouldn't you love to see Peter try a bubble party?

I've got a funny feeling he might nail it the first time though! LOL

Rick

Not bashing, I got Peter's book right away and the concepts have already helped me in weddings this year. I really think he would nail it the first time.

Say hello to your girlfriend, Dawg! :sqlaugh::sqlaugh::sqlaugh:
