Adam - stop thinking what you like and prefer...it's about what the customer thinks and perceives.....I don't get "gut wrenching" bass out of my RCF705AS....never desired it for weddings......If you have to adjust songs, perhaps the source is the issue, not the output...
I'll try to sum this up as simple as I can. I personally feel the need to provide my clients with the best show that I can deliver, of course within reason. My clients have never complained about the sound from any of my other setups, and that has been Mackie and Pyle Pro. But in my experience and what I have heard, the Bose could use a little work to be a better dj speaker. Primarily a bit more bass...I'm not talking shaking the rafters and rattling the walls by any means.
Insofar as the Dynas are concerned...not having heard them....but based om specs..I don't know about "blowing out of the water"
As far as this goes. I guess I could stop by NLFX again, and show Ben the Bose, but they have let me hear the Dynas, and my oh my...I know which one I feel is better. Of course this is based on smaller portable speakers. Which is exactly what I am looking for. I can't stand lugging in big speakers, and trying to put tops on truss legs and such.
The big speakers and me do not mix anymore!

Your last line is right on the money.
My last groom client was impressed. Will the next one care? I doubt it.
You'd be surprised... I've booked weddings because I use Bose.... both grooms and brides have told me so....
Either they have Bose equipment or have heard them... even if what they've experienced is home theater or car stereo... the impression is "high quality", "prestine" sound reproduction.
None have indicated to me they want a club feel anyway so the Bose has always been a good fit.... so far.
BTW: That was a great review... it was honest and I think most if not all Bose users here would agree with your assesment of a single L1 Dual B1 setup.
5) Sometimes I feel like you need to manually adjust songs to make them sound as intended. I think it sucks, but really it sounds good when you do this, and people do notice the difference.
There are songs though that need to be adjusted...Young MC's - Bust a Move, Tone Loc - Wild Thing, even Flo Rida- Low.....It's must have been the same engineer; the bottom end is just cranked on these tracks...Then you've got Katy Perry - Hot n Cold...sounds like it was they forgot to turn up the bass....
Eddie's gonna tell ya "I told ya so..."
...'nuff said!!! Well almost; if you make an investment of this magnitude, request the few extra $$$ for F(eddie)eEx...
Nothing to be sorry about. You offered your experience with a product you found that works superbly for you. That is wonderful news and you should not be sorry about sharing it. Keep it up.Sorry bout the Bose post..but this is relevant info.
Where are the Bose signatures from some of our posters? Don't tell me they had to remove them?
I was just asking. No stirring of the Bose pot from my end. The Piece hates it when I use her cooking spoons for stirring stuff.
Now come over here and give me a hug. You big hunk!
Let's just say it was strongly suggested by those who like to flex the virtual muscle. Of course even when I don't mention the name in postings specifically relating to those things I still get nasty messages from those who get easily upset. But hey, I'm alive and live is good.Where are the Bose signatures from some of our posters? Don't tell me they had to remove them?
